01Capabilities

Why Vectorgram for logo vectorization.

Clipart mode is tuned for flat art: hard edges stay hard, the palette is read from the image, and the node count stays low enough to edit by hand afterwards.

Clipart tracing tuned for flat, hard-edged art

Low node count — editable in any vector tool

Palette read from the image, no manual sampling

Transparent PNG backgrounds are preserved

Corner smoothing you control on Pro and above

Clean, editable SVG — the format every design tool imports

02How it works

Three steps, no handwork.

01

Upload

Drag, drop or paste a PNG, JPEG, WebP or BMP. Up to 2 MP without an account, up to 5 MP at full resolution on a paid plan — bigger files are shrunk to the cap in your browser.

02

Set the trace

Nothing to pick — the engine reads the image type from the bytes. Pro and above can tune detail, gradients and smoothing.

03

Download

An editable SVG. Re-downloading what you already paid for is free.

Input formats
PNGJPGWEBPBMP

PNG, JPEG, WebP and BMP go through. Anything else is refused at upload by name, rather than queued to fail.

Output formats
SVG

SVG is what the engine produces, and it is what every design tool, browser and cutting app imports.

03Privacy

Your images stay yours.

Uploads are short-lived by default and deletable on your terms.

Retention

Files auto-delete after 24 hours by default, or the moment you download if you pick "don't store". Longer windows come with the plans that include them.

On demand

Delete any file from your dashboard at once. Deletion is permanent and propagates within minutes.

No training

Your images and their vector output are never used to train, fine-tune or evaluate any model.

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?

Yes, with a number attached. Without an account you get a free preview on the home page, no signup. A free account converts 10 images a month at up to 2 megapixels, with no card and no trial clock. Paid plans start at $9 a month and convert in the browser without a monthly ceiling; the API is sold separately by volume and starts on Pro.

What makes Vectorgram good for logos?

Clipart mode merges flat regions instead of chasing every anti-aliased pixel, so you get far fewer nodes than a generic tracer at the same fidelity. Fewer nodes means an SVG a designer can actually edit rather than untangle.

Will my transparent background survive?

Yes. A transparent PNG comes back as an SVG with nothing drawn behind the artwork. A logo flattened onto a solid background comes back with that background as a shape you can delete in any vector editor.

What if my logo has gradients?

Gradient handling is a Pro control. Smooth tries to keep the blend; stepped bands it into flat colors, which is usually what you want for print and cutting. It is still in beta and not always reliable on complex artwork.

Can I match exact brand colors?

Not automatically — we read the colors that are in your file, and a JPEG has already shifted them. Vectorize first, then set the exact brand values on the resulting paths in your editor; that is one edit per color, on clean geometry.

What formats do I get back?

An editable SVG. PDF, EPS and AI are not produced — most design tools and print shops import SVG directly, and the ones that do not take a PDF exported from it in one step.
